The Shadow of Gold is a film by Denis Delestrac, Robert Lang and Sally Blake, written by Allen Booth and Denis Delestrac. An international Canada-France coproduction, the film is produced by Robert Lang (Kensington Communications, Canada) and Sally Blake (Films à Cinq and CAPA Presse, France). It was produced in association with TVO (Canada) and Arte France.

On Friday, February 22nd 2019, Toronto’s 600 seat Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema was full to capacity for the World Premiere of The Shadow of Gold. Much of the appreciative audience stayed for the lively panel discussion after the film. TELEVISION BROADCASTS OF THE TWO-PART DOCUMENTARY
